DISSEMINATED ON BEHALF OF APEX CRITICAL METALS CORP.  AND ZIMTU CAPITAL CORP.

Apex Critical Metals Corp. is emerging as a pivotal player in the exploration and development of Rare Earth Elements (REE) and Niobium, critical components in modern technology. As the demand for high-tech applications continues to surge, the significance of these materials cannot be overstated. Apex Critical Metals is strategically positioned to meet this demand, leveraging its rich portfolio of projects and a seasoned management team.

Apex Critical Metals Corp. was established with a clear mission: to become a leading force in the exploration and development of Rare Earth Elements (REE) and Niobium, materials essential for high-tech industries. Since its inception, the company has achieved significant milestones, including successful exploration projects and strategic partnerships.

The Importance of Niobium

Niobium is a crucial element used extensively in high-tech industries due to its unique properties. It is primarily employed in the production of high-strength, low-alloy steels, which are essential for the construction, automotive, and pipeline industries. Additionally, Niobium is a key component in superalloys used in jet engines, rocket engines, and other high-stress environments, enhancing their strength and resistance to heat.

Industrial Applications of Niobium

  • Aerospace and Defense: Niobium’s ability to withstand extreme temperatures and stress makes it invaluable in the aerospace and defense sectors. It is used in the production of jet and rocket engines, as well as in various military applications where durability and performance are critical.
  • Electronics and Superconductors: Niobium’s superconducting properties are leveraged in the electronics industry, particularly in the production of superconducting magnets used in MRI scanners and particle accelerators. Its role in advancing medical imaging and scientific research is significant.
  • Infrastructure and Automotive: High-strength, low-alloy steels containing Niobium are essential for building robust infrastructure and manufacturing durable automotive components. These materials offer enhanced strength, reducing the weight and improving the fuel efficiency of vehicles.

Supply & Demand Risk

  • Global production of niobium is limited with over 91% sourced from one country, Brazil.
  • Technological innovation & green energy applications are driving a significant demand in niobium.
  • Drivers of demand include: The energy sector with EV batteries, wind turbines and solar panels. The construction industry is also a major driver of demand as only a small amount of niobium is needed to increase strength of steel and reduces amount of total steel needed, thus, reducing cost.

The Importance of Rare Earth Elements

Rare Earth Elements (REEs) are essential components in a wide range of advanced technologies due to their unique chemical and physical properties. These elements are crucial for the development of high-performance materials used in electronics, renewable energy, defense, and various other high-tech industries. Despite their name, REEs are relatively abundant in the Earth’s crust, but their dispersion makes them challenging to mine and process, enhancing their strategic value.

Industrial Applications of Rare Earth Elements

Electronics and Technology: REEs are indispensable in the electronics industry, where they are used to produce powerful permanent magnets, phosphors for displays, and components for rechargeable batteries. These applications are foundational to the functioning of devices like smartphones, computers, and electric vehicles, driving innovation and technological advancement.

Renewable Energy: REEs play a critical role in the renewable energy sector, particularly in the production of wind turbines and electric vehicle motors. The powerful magnets made from neodymium, praseodymium, and dysprosium are key to converting mechanical energy into electricity, enabling the transition to cleaner energy sources and reducing our reliance on fossil fuels.

Aerospace and Defense: The aerospace and defense industries rely on REEs for their high-performance materials. REEs are used in the manufacturing of jet engines, missile guidance systems, and other critical defense technologies. Their ability to withstand extreme conditions while maintaining performance is crucial for maintaining national security and advancing aerospace technology.

Medical Technologies: In the medical field, REEs are vital in the production of MRI scanners, lasers, and other advanced imaging technologies. Elements like gadolinium are used as contrast agents in MRI, providing detailed images of the body’s internal structures, which are essential for accurate diagnosis and treatment.

Supply & Demand Risk

The global supply of Rare Earth Elements is heavily concentrated, with a significant portion of production controlled by China. This concentration poses supply chain risks, especially as demand continues to grow due to technological advancements and the shift towards green energy. The demand for REEs is driven by sectors such as electronics, renewable energy, and defense, where their unique properties are irreplaceable. As the world continues to innovate and transition to more sustainable technologies, the strategic importance of securing a stable supply of REEs becomes increasingly critical.

CAP Project

The CAP Project is situated 85 kilometers northeast of Prince George, British Columbia, encompassing an area of approximately 25 square kilometers. This strategically located project benefits from year-round accessibility and proximity to other significant deposits in the region. The project has yielded promising historical results, including intercepts of 0.35% Niobium (Nb) over 10 meters, indicating substantial potential for high-grade Niobium and Rare Earth Element (REE) mineralization.

Field work commences of CAP Project

Apex Critical Metals has initiated a comprehensive field exploration program at its CAP Project, located near Prince George, BC. The project focuses on a large carbonatite complex prospective for Niobium and Rare Earth Element (REE) mineralization. Historical results are promising, with surface samples showing significant niobium concentrations (0.77%, 3.38%, 0.96%, and 0.74% Nb₂O₅) and a 2017 drill hole returning 0.51% Nb₂O₅ over 4.01 meters.

The current fieldwork includes prospecting, geological mapping, and sampling to confirm and expand upon these findings. The program aims to outline prospective areas for follow-up drill testing, potentially leading to resource estimation and development.

The field exploration is being conducted by Dahrouge Geological Consulting Ltd. and is expected to last approximately three weeks. The project’s geological setting, with its magnetic and radiometric anomalies, suggests a high potential for further discoveries of niobium and REE.
